Tony started flying with the RAAF in 1989.  Initially training as a Navigator he flew on the P3C Orion before going to 25 Squadron for ISNC (Intro Strike Navigator Course) on the Macchi and then to Amberley for F111 Operational Conversion and a tour at 1 Squadron. From there, he became a QNI (Qualified Navigation Instructor) and trained Navigators and Naval Observers at the School of Air Navigation at RAAF Base East Sale.
Tony then completed the RAAF Pilots Course on an all through PC9 course and was posted to the fast jet stream.  A Macchi conversion with 79 Squadron followed and then to RAAF Williamtown for IFC (Intro Fighter Course).  Then to the F111 as a pilot for tours at 1 and 6 Squadrons, flying all variants of the F111.  FIC (Flying Instructors Course) was completed at RAAF East Sale to become a QFI (Qualified Flying Instructor).

Tony was then a QFI and Flight Commander at BFTS (Basic Flying Training School) Tamworth, and worked as a Flight Screening Testing Officer for the Flight Screening Program. At Tamworth, Tony flew 1000 hours of military instruction, testing and flight screening evaluation in the CT4, CAP10 and TB10 aircraft.
In 2005/06 there was time on the Hawk at 79 and 76 Squadrons.  With a move back to Amberley he became a 6 Squadron QFI, teaching pilots and navigators how to fly and operate the F111.  During that time he continued his operational flying and attended exercises such as Red Flag, held in Las Vegas, USA.

More recently, Tony became involved with Experimental  and Competition Aerobatic aircraft.  He hand built the only Harmon Rocket in Australia.  In late 2007, Tony imported a Rebel 300 unlimited aerobatic aircraft from the USA.  In 2008 he began aerobatic competition, winning his category of his first Australian Aerobatic Championships. Also that year, he began displaying the remarkable performance of the Rebel 300 with various Airshow displays.
It's almost 25 years of RAAF flying.  There is over 1000 hours on F111s, 1000 hours instruction and 2000 hours of other mixed flying.  Tony has the experience, dedication and professionalism to bring a spectacular display to any event!"
