During his days running a Dyno facility, Tony tested all sorts of performance upgrades including ceramic coatings.  Just coating the exhaust alone would usually give several horsepower on a Super Sport Race Bike— that was close to 5%.

A major advantage of coating the exhaust is the reduction in extreme heat cycles placed on the metal.  This significantly increases exhaust life.  The incidence of cracking is greatly reduced or eliminated.  The power gain comes from keeping the heat energy in the gas which improves gas velocity and therefore scavenging and total flow.  Not only that, it looks fantastic—a polished aluminium appearance that is stain resistant and long lasting!
